Club History
In the spring of 1999 Ray Underwood offered musical freestyle lessons in his obedience studio,
Underwoods Dog Obedience, located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.
Several teams signed up for the eight-week coarse. Near the end of the course we decided as a
group to form the "Paws 2 Dance".
Club Founders
Ray Underwood is a two times North American Canine Musical Freestyle Champion, judge, and
is a founder of MCSI, the organization that freestyle has evolved from.
Ray Underwood has been involved with Canine Musical Freestyle for many years as a
participant and a judge.
Ray is called upon regularly to demonstrate Canine Musical Freestyle skills and other canine
training techniques around the world.
